You have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s, now what?
We are here to help you.
“Parkinson’s is an old person’s disease so how the heck did I get so unlucky!”
This diagnosis is a hard one to hear and even more overwhelming when you’re young. BUT there is so much you can do to continuing living a full and satisfying life. You just need the right support and tools to get you there! I can promise you this… if you choose YOURSELF as a priority, you won’t regret it.
In my experience, having worked with over 250 people with PD, it is the newly diagnosed that have the most to gain by getting on the right program because they have best odds to slow down the progression or even halt it in its steps. The first step should be finding an exercise program that you enjoy doing. One that challenges you every time.
The sooner you start a specialized exercise program, the more you have to gain.
Most people wait until they get symptoms before they start addressing them, but by then it's almost impossible to stop them in their tracks. Many of the people that were referred to me would set up an initial appointment but they would wait to do a follow-up session until they realized that the symptoms were having a negative impact on their lives. For some this can take months. For others it could take years before they are willing to commit to work on themselves.
The good news here is that time can be on your side if you use it right. It is important to understand that “YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW”. That's where I come in! I can save you time and effort by getting you on track now so you can delay, or better yet, eliminate theses symptoms.
Check out the link below to get information on my Parkinson’s Pathway to Empowerment Program. It helps give you an idea of all of the areas that need to addressed properly in order to get your body running the best that it can.
Do yourself a favour. Don't wait until symptoms come into play. Start focusing on your body and mind today so you can reap the benefits in the long run! Whether you work with us or find another Parkinson's professional, YOUR HEALTH DEPENDS ON IT!
You can live one heck of a good life alongside Parkinson’s! Reach out and let us show you the way. You don’t need to do this alone, you have us in your corner now.
